CoRE is the acronym for the Centre of Resource Excellence.
Acting on behalf of others, we encourage students with learning and the courage to empower themselves to passionately pursue STEM career pathways, underpinned by 21st-century enterprise and technical skill development.
A progressive Learning Model which is encouraging all types of students to explore the possibilities, combining the sciences, technology, engineering, arts, and maths to develop novel solutions to real-world problems.

CoRE Foundation Culture
Our CoRE Foundation culture is a key function of the CoRE Learning Model and through this precedent, we drive inclusivity and diversity.
Heavily vested in fostering educational outcomes that improve the "system" - in support of Industry with pathways for 21st-century talent - CoRE fosters engaged, resilient student mindsets and action.
CoRE programs and teams demonstrate leadership to service resource sector talent requirements, while simultaneously advocating for a fairer, more diverse and equitable system.
Founded on developing, nurturing and promoting home-grown talent to facilitate the employment needs of our resources sector - development of CoRE has been an almost 20-year journey, based on the simple premise that education, industry, community, and government should connect to work collaboratively and provide more meaningful, relevant education pathways to students.

Kent Street Senior High School in Perth is the lighthouse school for the CoRE Program, and at the school Years 7 to 10 are invited to apply for CoRE.
